Weekly Update 24th July
We have an online booking system which links to our live availability diary, which means you can choose your items, check availability, make your booking and pay your deposit quickly and easily 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require a £25 deposit upon booking, with the balance due before the hire commences either online in advance, or by cash or card upon delivery. If you require any further information or assistance please don’t hesitate to call, email or message - we are always happy to help. Please book early - we already have wedding bookings coming in as far ahead as 2024 and the following dates this year are fully booked: Sunday 7th August, Saturday 13th August, Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August. Other dates throughout August and September are limited, with winter indoor hall parties also starting to come in for November, December and beyond.
Under the PUWER regulations, every operator is required by law to have all of their equipment tested annually by a competent person to ensure they comply with the latest regulations and meet the required safety standards. The HSE only recognise PIPA and ADIPS as competent inspection bodies, with PIPA being the preferred choice for bouncy castles. We would like to thank Richard at Tearaway Leisure in Manby for carrying out the required tests on 3 of our bouncy castles that were due for testing. We are happy to say they all passed and the test certificates and safety reports can be found on the PIPA website by clicking on the PIPA tag no link on the relevant bouncy castle’s page on our website. Please, when deciding who to hire your bouncy castle from, ask to see the test report - if the operator refuses please look elsewhere as the castle may not be safe and would not be covered by insurance.
We were back at Horncastle County Primary School for their Year 6 leavers party on Wednesday with our Celebration themed bouncy castle. Due to the extreme heat and the threat of thunderstorms we agreed with the school to move into the hall to ensure the party went ahead without a hitch. Friday saw our Celebration themed bouncy castle out again, this time for a wedding celebration at The Oakland’s Hotel, Laceby.
Garden parties were the order of the day on Saturday with our Party themed bouncy castle out in Louth, the Pirate and Mermaid themed bouncy castle with slide set up for a family party in Faldingworth and our Unicorn bouncy castle out for a birthday party in Alford.
Sunday was forecast to be windy with gusts over 24mph so we swapped inflatables for soft play and a ball pool to ensure the fun wasn’t spoilt too much at a christening celebration in Maltby Le Marsh.
We always err on the side of caution where the wind is concerned - we’d rather get it wrong and be safe than set up regardless of the conditions and contribute to an accident. One thing you can be sure of we always put safety ahead of profit.
